What is Self Area 51? The Race to Length 51!

The classic “survival” logic of Snake is replaced by a clear objective: “The first to reach length 51 wins.” But this is no ordinary race:

• Split-Screen Action: The arena is divided into two; each player competes independently in their own half.
• No Walls (Wrap-Around): Hitting the edges won’t kill you! You can exit one side and enter from the other. The only real danger: hitting yourself!
• Round System: Matches are played in a “First-to-5 rounds” format. Each round is an independent race to length 51.

Strategic Weapon: The Green Diamond

What makes Self Area 51 truly unique is the Green Diamond that appears at regular intervals. It doesn’t just grow your snake — it lets you directly interfere with your opponent:

• Double Effect: Eating a Green Diamond grows you by +2 units while your opponent instantly shrinks by ‑1 unit!
• Timing: The diamond appears every 20 seconds and relocates every 3 seconds until eaten. The first player to eat it resets the timer.
• Pro Move: If your opponent is at length 50, grabbing the Green Diamond might be your last chance to turn the tide!
